Saperavi 2021
Big and earthy with ripe boysenberry and plum. Heavy tannins make it very tight at first. We recommend decanting for at least 30 minutes. However, the tannins are silky and well developed with a stunning magenta color that makes it almost as fun to look at as it is to drink.

Winemaker Notes:
Saperavi is one of only a handful of teinturier varieties, meaning it has red flesh and red skins, creating deep purple and ruby hues in the wine. Originally from Georgia, it is one of the oldest vinifera grapes in the world. Aged in oak barrels for 10 months with 25% new oak to temper the naturally high acidity and tannin.
