Siegerrebe, 2021

Knapp is proud to have the only planting of Siegerrebe in the Finger Lakes. A cousin of Gewürztraminer, it means "victory vines" in German, where it originates. Like Gewürtztraminer, it has dried apricot and honeysuckle on the nose with distinct notes of lychee. A tiny hint of rosewater is followed by nectarine, pear, and Meyer lemon. Luscious and opulent, this wine lingers on the palate.
